Before patenting our one-piece construction, we tried the two-piece construction and very quickly our team of engineers learned that even the most insignificant amount of condensation would very quickly begin to rust the copper wire. Because the leads of the copper wire are different materials they are susceptible to rust. If any moisture is introduced into the environment of the bulb either in the form of condensation or actual water, it begins to rust. The rusting process is very fast. In these cases, the bulb will rust and literally fall out of the socket within a few months! It is impossible to completely seal a two-piece light set.

Our patented manufacturing process includes the injecting of plastic material over the connection of the L.E.D. and the copper wire. The husk or socket that normally has the bulb inserted into it on our set is actually a one-piece injection. This means that the L.E.D. cannot be removed from the socket and therefore no replacement L.E.D.s will ever be needed.
Our one-piece construction patent has issued in the United States and Canada. We are proud to manufacture the best product in the market today. The protection of our intellectual property is ongoing and we will evaluate infringement on a case-by-case basis.
